I can't believe that Rachel just had her 15 month checkup today! To make it even more real to me that she's getting older, she sat at the table on the kid chair in the waiting room. When they called her name, we helped her stand up and she walked to the back by herself! (Once she got to the hallway and realized where she was she put the brakes on and Daddy had to carry her!)
She didn't really like the doctor poking her and looking in her ears and mouth too much, but he said she looks great!
Here are her stats:
Height- 30 in.- 36%
Weight- 20 lb 5 oz- 13%
Head- 18.2 in. - 60%
She has learned how to do so much even in the last three months:
~She now runs around the house. We have to be careful upstairs because she takes off if she makes it out of her room!
~She loves to eat almost anything, but loves to feed the dog even more.
~She is really learning how to play with her toys the way they're supposed to be played with and even puts them away before bed!
~She gives hugs and kisses
~She does the motions and "says" rhymes like The Itsy Bitsy Spider, This Little Piggy, and There was a Little Bear (her favorite!)
~Zoe's name is now Kitty
~She points to her belly on cue, but when we ask for her to point to her eyes, she usually points to her hair, we ask for hair, she points to ears... we're getting there though!
~And yes, the temper tantrums have begun. Dustin and I are doing pretty good at not laughing when her bottom lip pooches out and she flails her arms. It's hard though- she's really cute!
