Maternity clothes?
I've made the switch. The pants are a little big still, but there's no squeezing in the "normal" pants. Most shirts still fit, but I did wear a maternity shirt today.

No

Weight gained:
I think around 2 pounds

Sleep:
Getting better, of course now that school has started, I'm waking up thinking of that!

Best moment this/last week:
My students have been pretty awesome so far (all 2 days!). Also, a presentation that I had went well and was pretty well received (I think!)

Food cravings:
Before dinner tonight I was watching TV, that Pizza looked pretty good, but then the KFC commercial came on- I resisted the urge and had the planned Chicken Cordon Bleu- still very yummy

Going through this pregnancy with friends (2 others pregnant in our small group, some facebook friends, and a co-worker just found out she's having twins!)

Mommy-Rachel Weekend

Well, Daddy has been back at work for a few weeks now- so Rachel and I have had some quality one on one time- most of which has been good. I had a few times when I wondered how in the world I was going to handle 1 child- I didn't want to think about next year at this time! I did have a bit of a melt down one day and was actually really excited that the following day I had a meeting to go to and work to do at school- I think I just had to get out of the house and speak in complete sentences that did not have to do with Elmo, Einey (Little Einsteins), not feeding the dog, putting toys away, etc.

But then, it happened, Dustin had to go away for Band Camp at Sweet Briar. For 5 days. I know it's not that long, and so many people do it all the time and for much longer, but it's still not fun. I was excited that my mom stopped by one night- she was on her way back from Gatlinburg with her sister-in-laws for a week- and she wanted to break up the trip and have a little time with us too. So we went shopping a little for Rachel's birthday, talked, and went out for a nice brunch before she had to leave the next day to go the rest of the way home. Then Rachel and I went to visit Daddy at band camp for the rest of the day. We didn't get to see him that much, but all the kids loved seeing Rachel and she loved seeing and hearing all of them. I have a feeling I am just going to take her to the football games this year then lose her amongst the flags until half-time! She was a trooper- went the whole day without a nap, and wasn't fussy at all. Of course, we got in the car, she said night-night, put a blanket over her head and didn't move until I got her out when we got home.

We took walks, played outside, did some yardwork and got some other things accomplished while he was gone. It ended up being a really good long weekend, but we sure are glad that he's back home. I especially love taking a long shower and not worrying what Rachel is doing!

Not for the most part, but I did wear some maternity shorts today because I wanted to keep them buttoned while sitting down. I'm not really sure what I am going to do about work next week...

No

Still holding steady

Sleep:
I've had a few good nights sleep. I love my sleep during Rachel's nap time!

Best moment this/last week:
I know I'm crazy for saying this, but getting back into work for a day this week. I'm looking forward to getting a routine back- even if it is a wild one!

On, thank goodness it hasn't been quite as hot, so they aren't cutting off circulation.

Having clothes that fit, even if they do have a stretchy waistband!

Escapee!

Well, we had an escapee the other night... Rachel has been throwing a bit of a temper tantrum at bedtime for the last week. She will cry for about 5 minutes then go to sleep- just enough to let us know that she's not happy! Well, she was taking longer to settle down. Dustin walked by her room and she was standing at the door- not in her crib! Not quite sure how she got out of the crib, I was in the living room under her room and never heard a thud, so we think she just climbed out. Either way, she was a little scared that she did get out. Took her a little while to settle back down, but she did, and hasn't ventured out since. I didn't sleep very well that night since I was worried that she'd try it again. About 3 she started talking a little and I could hear her shaking the side of the crib, but went back to sleep pretty quickly. We got a gate and put it in her doorway last night so in case she does get out, she won't venture down the stairs! So far, so good though!

No, but skinny jeans are definitely out! A lot of my pants are becoming difficult to button, it won't be long.

None since my first appointment last week


Sleep:
I haven't slept through the night since I've been pregnant. Sometimes I wake up and can go right back to sleep, it's not uncommon for me to be up for 3 hours in the middle of the night though- ugg

Best moment this/last week:
Teaching Rachel to hug and kiss the baby!

Most things taste pretty good!

On, but sometimes I can't get them off- of course it is HOT and HUMID!

Rachel's new Tricks

Yes, that's right! Mommy has a baby! Baby #2 is due on February 27th and we are very excited! I've been feeling pretty good, for the most part. I am really tired, but It helps that it's summer and I can rest when I need to. I'll post more on that later, though. For now, enjoy the video!

Busch Gardens

I was so excited for Busch Gardens this year. We haven't been able to go the last few years because I was extremely pregnant, then Rachel was just little and it wasn't worth it to go. This year we took her and she had a great time! We didn't ride any roller coasters, but that was ok, watching the kids was better, anyway!

SOOO excited, and she didn't even know why yet!

She though this one looked fun while we were in line... didn't like it so much while riding- she kept trying to climb on my lap. Maybe next year will be better.

Brent and Blake on a little free-fall ride. He loves it.

Mimi was having the time of her life with all the grandkids (maybe the kids, too- more the grandkids though!)

Rachel didn't really care for the water jumping out of the ground at her. She finally warmed up a little bit, but was perfectly fine when we left!

She liked the balloon ride with Blake much better! Look at those smiles!

Rachel thought she liked Elmo, until she got close and realized he was HUGE! She wouldn't get close, but did blow him a kiss goodbye.

Passed out on the way home. What a great day!
