This year was the first year that we have spent Christmas morning at home in our own home. It was great to go to our church's Christmas Eve service and spend some time with our friends and just be together.

I loved coming home Christmas Eve, putting Rachel to bed, then filling the living room with her gifts and preparing for the morning. Christmas morning was great! We woke up to snow on the ground, the reading of the Christmas Story and the traditional sausage balls for breakfast!

Rachel loves her new fold-out couch! This year was great since she was actually coherent, unlike last year when she was 2 1/2 months old and slept through everything.
